Refugees and homelessness

I am writing about this because we have been learning about this in school and I think people need to notice people that don’t have a home.

Some people live on streets or in refugee camps and it must be hard to wake up and find yourself in an old street or in a dusty refugee camp. We all know that we are lucky to have a nice warm home to live in but some people don’t and only live on five pounds a day! We need to try and help. Some people think that refugees are horrible and unkind but they are kind and only want a home.

I am going to help by raising money for charities which help the refugees or people who are homeless. I am planning to sell some of my things and at school we are giving a speech in a local cathedral. I think people will understand more about refugees after that.
